About SPDA

SPDA is an association that supports Saudi postdoctoral researchers and postdocs based in Saudi Arabia. Our mission is to build community, advance career development, and represent postdoctoral needs across academia, industry, and research institutions.

Motivation

  • Postdocs are vital to the Saudi research ecosystem.

  • No dedicated platform exists for their representation and communication.

  • The industry (and even academic) communities in KSA are not fully aware of the importance of postdocs.
